What is the purpose of Your Footprints?
The purpose of Your Footprints is to achieve Green Donating. We collect idle, but good-condition items and repurpose them through donations to those in need for secondary use. Our mission is to make a meaningful impact by improving the lives of others, especially those who might benefit from goods that are no longer needed by one person but still hold value to another. We wish to spread love and care throughout the community and beyond. Our ultimate goal is to encourage widespread participation in charity and donations, transcending race, nationality, and country. We believe that every individual or household has some idle goods that they no longer need but could be useful to others. Donating in this form contributes to a cycle of giving and recycling of goods for secondary use.

Where did you get an idea for Your Footprints?
Well, about a year ago, my house was undergoing renovations, so my family and I had to temporarily move into our basement, which was when I noticed something: the basement was full of old toys from when I was a kid, they were idle and just sitting there collecting dust. Prior to this, I hadn’t really paid attention to them since we mainly used our basement as a storage space, and it never interfered with our daily life. I recognized how wasteful it would be to just throw it all away when it could still bring joy and value to others. I knew that just because it means nothing to me now does not mean it lacks significance to others. Acting on this thought, I decided to create Your Footprints, which redistributes items that one no longer needs to help other people who do need it. After proposing this idea along with the idea of creating a charity to my parents, they were extremely delighted and supportive about my initiative and they helped me establish Your Footprints.
Question 3.
What is this event about?
Well this is our first ever event. I am organizing an event designed to engage high school students in a community service project that involves collecting idle or spare Lego sets and pieces that are mixed together, sorting them back into their original sets, and packaging them for donation to children in need, specifically elementary students and children who do not have these toys.
